Dental implants

Dental crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap which can be placed over your existing tooth to solve several issues, including if the natural tooth is weak or broken.
Dental crowns can be used to restore the original size, shape or appearance of the tooth. Beyond improving the aesthetics of the tooth, a crown can also be used to prevent decay or following a root canal. In addition, crowns can be used to hold dental bridges in place.
To fit a dental crown you will need to visit us for two appointments.
During the initial appointment, your dentist will take impressions of your tooth and you will be fitted with a temporary crown. You will then return to have the permanent crown placed.

Additional bus routes which call outside our practice include service 22A (Wigan to Warrington), service 954 (Ashton-in-Makerfield to Tamer Lane) and service 988 (Newton le Willows to Golborne).
Taxi or Uber – The average fare is around £12 between Wigan and Golbourne.
