Composite VENEERS

Providing a natural, beautiful appearance that is non-destructive to the tooth structure, composite veneers can last for a long time.

With composite veneers, we match the material to your natural tooth shade, applying in layers to the tooth surface and sculpted within your mouth to achieve the desired aesthetic appearance. Composite veneers are a great solution for fixing chipping or discolouration. They can also be used to help with changing the appearance of your teeth with minor misalignments of teeth.

  • Veneers are used to treat chipped and damaged teeth, teeth that have become worn down, stained or discoloured.
  • Teeth are prone to becoming discoloured due to red wine, tea, coffee, tobacco chewing or cigarette smoking.
  • In certain instances teeth whitening is not enough to restore their natural colour so dental veneers are the treatment of choice.
  • Veneers can also be used to help with slightly crooked teeth or smiles with unsightly gaps.

When to use composite veneers?
Composite veneers are very versatile and have a number of use cases where they are an excellent solution for things such as damaged, crooked, or stained teeth, and even gapped teeth.
How long do they last?
Generally, composite veneers remain intact between 3-10 years, it really depends on lifestyle choices, goods consumed and general oral hygiene habits.

With a regular check-up on your veneers, you can expect then to last for a very long time and require only minimal maintenance.

How are they fitted?
Composite veneers are bonded to your teeth. Your dentist will ensure that the surface is clean to provide a secure bond, drying your tooth to remove any excess moisture and then apply a bonding agent.

One the tooth is ready, your dentist will then begin to layer composite material, skilfully crafting and sculpting your tooth shape, removing any excess before finally smooth and polishing the finished tooth.
